Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how JobSpring ("we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies when you visit our website and use our services. It explains what these technologies are, why we use them, and your rights to control them.

4. Manage Your Preferences
Use the controls below to manage which optional cookies JobSpring can set on your device. Essential cookies cannot be disabled as they are required for the site to function. Advertising cookies default to off and require your explicit opt-in.
5. Browser-Level Controls
Most browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can typically:
- View what cookies are set
- Delete some or all cookies
- Block cookies from specific sites or all sites
- Block third-party cookies
- Accept or decline cookies when they are set
If you block essential cookies, some features of the Service may not work properly (e.g., you may not be able to stay signed in).
6. Google Ads and AdSense
JobSpring uses Google services for advertising:
- Google Ads: We run advertising campaigns to promote JobSpring on Google Search, Display Network, and partner sites. When you arrive at JobSpring from a Google ad, conversion tracking cookies may be set (with your consent) to help us measure the ad's effectiveness
- Google AdSense: We display ads from Google's advertising network on certain pages of JobSpring. These ads may be personalized based on your browsing activity across Google's network, or they may be non-personalized depending on your consent preferences
When advertising cookies are disabled (the default), Google will serve only non-personalized ads that are not based on your browsing history. You will still see ads, but they will not be tailored to your interests.
You can manage Google's use of your data for ad personalization at Google Ad Settings and opt out of personalized advertising from Google at google.com/settings/ads.
7. Local Storage and Similar Technologies
In addition to cookies, we use browser local storage and session storage for:
- Saved answers (Chrome extension): Your auto-fill application answers are stored in local storage and optionally synced to your account
- UI state: Sidebar collapse state, filter selections, and other interface preferences
- Cache data: Temporary caching of search results and suggestions for faster navigation
Local storage data is not sent to our servers unless you explicitly sync it (e.g., saved answers sync). You can clear local storage through your browser's developer tools or settings.
8. Do Not Track
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal to websites. There is no industry standard for how websites should respond to DNT signals. When we detect a DNT signal, we treat it as a preference against non-essential cookies and will not set analytics or advertising cookies without explicit consent.
9. California Residents — Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), the use of advertising cookies to deliver targeted ads may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information.
When advertising cookies are disabled (the default state), no data is shared with Google for personalized advertising purposes. If you have previously opted in and wish to opt out:
- Disable "Advertising Cookies" in the preference controls above
- Or contact us at legal@jobspring.pro
We will process your opt-out request without requiring you to create an account or verify your identity beyond what is necessary to process the request. You will not be penalized or receive a different quality of service for exercising this right.
For other CCPA rights (access, deletion, portability), see our Privacy Policy.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, technical, or regulatory reasons. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated through a banner on the site.
